No, the N8X is a 2-way absorption fridge. It runs on LP gas and 120V AC, and uses 12V DC only for the controls. If you want a 12V only fridge in that size, look at the Norcold N8DC, like the N8DCSSR or N8DCSSL. It's a 12V compressor fridge that fits the same size opening.
