Since you've already replaced the thermistor, the next step is figuring out whether the board is stuck "on". Does it stay too cold on both AC and LP, or only on one mode? If it only overcools on AC, the AC relay on the power board is probably stuck closed, and replacing the 628661/ 50723 board should fix it. If it overcools on both modes, double-check that the new thermistor is clipped firmly in the same spot on the fins as the original, then look at the board.
