The Norcold DC751BB is a 12V DC compressor fridge, so it doesn't use propane, but it also doesn't plug into 120V AC directly. It runs off your battery and converter. That works well in a lot of trailers, as long as your 12V wiring is heavy enough for the compressor. I can't confirm the fit against your Dometic 4223 opening, so compare the DC751's cutout dimensions to your opening before you order.
