If your N4105 runs fine on AC and LP but not on 12V DC, the usual suspects are the DC side only: the DC heating element, the DC fuse, or the 12V supply to the heater. The DC heater draws a lot of current, so a weak connection or undersized wire will keep it from working even if the controls light up. Check the DC fuse on the board, then measure the DC heater resistance (a good one reads very low, around 1 ohm, while an open reading means it's bad), and check for 12V at the heater terminals while it's calling for cooling. If the heater and wiring are good and the board isn't sending power, the 692249 power board is the likely culprit. Our tech support service can help if you'd like.
