On the NR751, the thermostat control tells the compressor when to shut off, so if it keeps running even with the control turned all the way down, the thermostat control is the most likely cause. Also make sure the door is sealing well and the condenser area at the back has good airflow. Unfortunately, the NR751/ NR740 thermostat controls (635832 and 635926) have been discontinued. If it can't be repaired, the DC751BB is the current model in that size.
