Hi Mike! The N15DCSS runs entirely on 12V DC, so the main job is getting a heavy, well-fused 12V feed to it. Your gas/electric fridge only used 12V for its controls, so the existing 12V wire is almost certainly too small. Run new wire sized per the N15DC installation manual for your wire length, preferably straight from the battery bank or main 12V distribution, with the fuse or breaker the manual specifies. Voltage drop is the number one cause of compressor fridge problems. Have the old gas line properly capped by a qualified tech, and you won't need the 120V outlet for the fridge anymore. The installation manual with the wiring diagram comes with the fridge. If you'd like a copy before you buy, email us and we'll send it.
