Unfortunately, the 617983 thermocouple for the 3163 has been discontinued, and we haven't confirmed a substitute that fits the 3163's valve correctly. Since the thermocouple is a gas safety part, I wouldn't install one that isn't matched to the valve. You can see what's still available on our 3163 parts page.
