Since the valve opens and gas is at the burner, you're down to the spark. On the 6162, check the spark electrode first: look for a cracked ceramic, a loose or corroded wire, and make sure the tip is positioned correctly over the burner. The 61692222 electrode is in stock. If the electrode is good and you don't hear any clicking, the ignition side of the controls is the next suspect. On the 600/ 6000 series, that's the 61717037 ignition control module.
