Not necessarily. The 636348 thermocouple extension has been discontinued, but it only matters for LP operation, and it's only a problem if yours has actually failed. If your N306 is a 3-way (.3) model, it will still run on 120V AC and 12V DC without the gas side. If you do need the part, contact us and we'll check for options.
