If it runs well on gas for about 3 hours and then the ON and GAS lights flash and it shuts down, the fridge lost its flame and couldn't relight. Common causes are a dirty burner or flue, a spark electrode that isn't sensing the flame well, wind blowing through the outside vent, or LP pressure dropping (regulator or low tank).
