When a new cooling unit doesn't cool well, it's usually the installation. Check that there's full contact between the evaporator and the inside of the box with fresh thermal mastic, that the heater(s) are fully seated in the heater well, that the burner is centered under the flue with the baffle in place, that the fridge is level, and that the vents aren't blocked.
