If the burner lights and then goes out after 5 to 8 seconds, the board isn't sensing the flame, so it shuts the gas off. On the 1210, the most common causes are a spark electrode that's dirty, cracked, or out of position in the flame, a poor ground or loose high tension wire, or a weak flame from a dirty burner or low LP pressure. Clean the burner and electrode tip, check the electrode gap and wire, and confirm good LP pressure. Our posts on LP flame problem codes and Norcold not staying lit on gas walk through it.
