Not necessarily. On the Polar N8X, the blink codes point to specific problems, and many aren't the board. Look up the 7 blink code in our post on N7/ N8/ N10 fault codes and work through the checks there first. If it does come down to the board, we sell it: the 639593/ 50861, which is in stock.
