At 48 degrees, something is keeping your 1210 from cooling well. Check that the thermistor is clipped to the fins, that the rear cooling fans come on when it's warm, that the outside vents are clear, and that the fridge is level. If it's been a problem since new, it's also worth checking the installation, including venting and gaps around the fridge, since poor airflow is a common cause on 1210s.
