Yes, it could be the power board, but check a few things first. If it won't run in auto on 120V and works when you unplug it (forcing LP), the AC side has a problem. Measure the AC heater resistance with it unplugged from the board (an open reading means it's bad), check the AC fuse on the board, and confirm 120V at the outlet.
