My norcold fridge has a letter "A" on the readout. What does that mean? I just got done cleaning up a frozen an broken soda can an noticed it had an "r" on the readout . Then i switched the temp setting from 7 to 5 and mode to ac. Then it went back to "r" on the readout. I thought it might mean reset? So I shut it off and turned it back on and now it has "A" on it. On most Norcold displays, an "A" (or AU) means the fridge is in Automatic mode, where it picks AC when it's available and switches to LP when it isn't.
