A 9182 that shuts itself off is often losing its 12V DC supply. Check the battery voltage, the fuse and the 12V connections at the board. Heat can also cause the board to cut out, so make sure the vents are clear. If the 12V is steady and it still shuts off, the power board may be failing. The replacement for the 900/ 9000 series is the Dinosaur N991. The 628661 on this page won't fit the 9182.
