It sounds like the board you received came set up for a different fridge (a newer style kit), which is why the harness won't connect. Please email us at info@rvfridgeguys.com or call 800-712-8822 with the order number, the fridge model and serial number, and a photo of the fridge's wiring. We'll help sort out the right board or adapter. Don't force the connectors. You can find everything else at www.rvfridgeguys.com.
