The N811 doesn't have a fan unless one was added, so not hearing anything is normal. It's an absorption fridge and runs silently. If the light works but it won't get cold, check these:
1. Look at the display for a flashing fault code. 2. Check whether the boiler area at the back gets hot on electric and on propane. If it's hot but not cooling, the cooling unit is likely failing. Look for yellow residue or an ammonia smell. 3. If it doesn't get hot in either mode, look at the power board. For the N811, the Power Board Kit 621991001 (older serial numbers) is in stock, and so is the 628661 (newer).
