When the 3163 cools on AC/DC but not on LP, and the flame blows out while you're driving, look at the burner and flue first. Clean the burner, orifice and flue, and make sure the flue baffle is in place. Check that the thermocouple tip sits in the flame. A weak thermocouple lets the flame drop out in wind. The Thermocouple 617983, Burner Orifice 621951 and Control Assembly 617998 have all been discontinued by Norcold, so they're only available while our remaining stock lasts.
