When the fridge satisfies on AC but keeps running on propane without getting cold enough, it's getting less heat on gas. The usual causes are a dirty burner or orifice, a sooty flue or missing flue baffle, or low LP pressure (it should be about 11 inches water column). Clean the burner, orifice and flue, and make sure the flame goes straight up the flue. For the N6/N8 models, the Burner Orifice Assembly 621957 is available. See our propane troubleshooting guide. The Ice Maker Tube/Heater 621429 you asked on isn't related, and it has been discontinued by Norcold.
