On the NRF30, if the display reads 101°F inside while the box is actually cold, the controller is getting a bad reading from the temperature sensor (thermistor), so it runs nonstop. A new optical board won't fix that. The sensor is inside the cabinet, wired back to the control board. It's usually tucked behind the interior liner near the evaporator. Check its plug for corrosion or a loose connection. The Norcold NRF30 has been discontinued by Norcold, and we don't carry a replacement sensor for it.
