An "H" code means the board isn't getting the AC heating element to work. Since you've already replaced the element (or it tests good) and the board has power and a good fuse, and there was a lightning strike/power surge, the board's AC relay or circuit was most likely damaged. That's why it still runs on gas. For the N822, the in-stock replacement boards are the Norcold 628661 and the Dinosaur 6212XX. See our AC HE / H code article.
