If the fans come on and off but the compressor won't start, it's often low voltage. When the compressor tries to start, the voltage drops and the controller shuts it down. Check the voltage right at the fridge while it tries to start. Use heavy enough wire and check the battery and connections. If the voltage holds steady, the compressor's electronic control is the next suspect. The Norcold DC558 has been discontinued by Norcold. The closest current Norcold DC model is the Norcold N2175.
