If the burner is running but it barely cools, first make sure the fridge is level while running. Then check the flue: clean it, make sure the baffle is in place, and check that the flame goes straight up the flue tube. Also check the LP pressure (about 11 inches water column) and the ventilation behind the fridge. If all of that checks out and the boiler area gets hot but it still won't cool, the cooling unit is likely failing, even without visible yellow residue. See our not cooling guide and propane guide.
