Those icons show the operating mode. The plug icon is AC (electric) only, "A" with the plug is automatic mode (it uses AC when available and switches to gas when it isn't), and the flame or droplet icon is gas mode. For most people, Auto is the right setting. Your question cut off, so if the fridge is acting up, send us the details. See our Norcold error codes page.
