If it runs on AC and you can light it manually on LP but the igniter doesn't work, the igniter board is the likely cause. The Dinosaur Igniter Board UIBL-Post is listed for the 838EG2/8310EG2, and it's in stock. Also check the electrode and its wire for cracks.
