On the N611, 6 flashes means the high-temperature limit switch (thermal fuse) has opened, and the board shuts the fridge down. That switch trips when the boiler overheats, which is usually a sign the cooling unit is failing. Look for yellow residue or an ammonia smell, and please don't bypass it.
