With 13.7V at the batteries, the voltage looks fine, but E3 is often a voltage-related alarm on compressor fridges. Check the voltage right at the fridge while the compressor is starting, since it can dip below the cutoff through undersized wire or loose connections even with a good battery. Clean and tighten the terminals and check the wire gauge. See our Norcold error codes page. Our Tech Support service can help if it keeps happening.
