If a new board didn't fix it, the fans are more likely controlled by the fan thermostat on the back of the fridge, or the fans themselves are failing. Check that the fans get 12V when the back of the fridge is hot. The fan thermostat 640235 and the universal Valterra fan are common fixes. Rising temperatures on a 2118 in hot weather can also mean the cooling unit is getting weak. Installing the Power Board 637082 is a moderate DIY job: turn off all power, photograph every connection, and move them one at a time.
