If only the on/off button doesn't work, the front optical (control) board is the usual cause, not the main power board. Try a hard reset first: remove 12V for a minute, then reconnect. Also reseat the ribbon cable. For the 1210, the optical board is the Optical Display Board 629113, and it has been discontinued by Norcold, so it's only available while our remaining stock lasts.
