Good news: the Norcold/Dometic Interrupter 621737 is in stock now, so you don't need a substitute. Jumping the interrupter terminals is fine as a short test, but don't run the fridge that way long term. The interrupter is part of the safety circuit that shuts the gas off. The N300 is discontinued, and Norcold's replacement is the Norcold N4150. See our Norcold replacement guide.
