For a watertight connection, push the water line fully onto the tube's barb, then clamp it with a small stainless worm-drive or spring clamp just behind the barb. Don't overtighten it on plastic. If the old fitting is cracked, replace it. The Water Tube Fitting 620039 is in stock. The Tube/Heater Assembly 621429 has been discontinued by Norcold.
