The N10DC is wired straight to your RV's 12V DC system. Most installers run properly sized wire from a fused 12V source directly to the fridge's DC input, not an extension cord. I can't confirm the connector type on your unit, so check the installation manual for the recommended wire gauge. Use heavy enough wire to avoid voltage drop.
