On the Polar N7V/N8V, the cover over the optical board is held by clips. Gently pry at the bottom edge with a plastic trim tool, work your way along the edge and ease it forward. Check for a xxxx first, often at the top or behind the trim. The Optical Board 639509 has been discontinued by Norcold, but we may still have limited stock.
