It could be. If the gas won't stay lit after you release the xxxx , the thermocouple or its connection is the usual cause. If it won't light at all, check the igniter first. Clean and tighten the thermocouple connections (including the splice about a foot from the valve) and make sure its tip sits in the flame. The Thermocouple 636352 for the N305/N306 has been discontinued by Norcold, but we may still have limited stock. The Norcold N306.3 fridge itself is still in stock if you decide to replace it.
