Sorry to hear that. Yellow powder and an ammonia smell confirm the cooling unit leaked. The Nordic 3398 is no longer available. For the 9182, we now carry the brand-new Nordic Cooling Unit 3381A. The swap is a big but doable job: remove the fridge, move the heaters, burner and thermal switch to the new unit, and reinstall. Nordic includes general instructions, and our Tech Support service can walk you through it. The 9182 is discontinued, and Norcold's replacement is the Norcold N8X. See our Norcold replacement guide.
