That sounds like a cooling unit that's on its way out. When the heat only moves a few inches into the condenser and stops, the ammonia/hydrogen mix isn't circulating the way it should, usually from a partial blockage or low charge. A fan won't fix that.
For the N611 the replacement is the Nordic 3361A cooling unit, which is in stock. If you'd rather replace the whole fridge, the N611 is discontinued and the Norcold N7X is the current replacement. Our replacement guide has more on that.
