Yes, 5 is the coldest setting. If it's only getting down to 45°F on 5, here's what I'd check:
- Airflow around the compressor and condenser at the back. It needs room to breathe, and a blocked vent will keep it from cooling. - Battery voltage at the fridge. Low voltage or undersized wiring makes the compressor slow down. - Door gaskets. Close a dollar bill in the door and make sure you feel some drag all the way around. - Don't pack it too tight, especially when you're first cooling it down.
If all of that checks out, the control module 640178 is the usual suspect on the N8DC.
