When a board melts in the same spot twice and the fuse doesn't blow, it's almost always a bad connection, not too much current. A loose or corroded terminal on the wires plugging into that corner of the board heats up and cooks the board around it. Replace the connector on the wire harness that plugs in there, and make sure every terminal is tight and clean before installing another board.
For the Polar N7, the board is the 639593 power board.
