I can't confirm what E3 means on the N8DC from here, and I don't want to guess before your trip. Most N8DC alarms come back to power, so check the battery voltage right at the fridge while the compressor is trying to run, and make sure the back vents aren't blocked. Your RV is new, so the dealer or Norcold warranty should cover it too.
