Here's the easy way to defrost the NA8LX:
1. Turn the fridge off and take everything out. 2. Prop both doors open and put towels on the bottom of each compartment. 3. Set a pan of hot water inside to speed things up. Don't chip at the ice, since it's easy to puncture the fins or the freezer plate. 4. Once it's clear, wipe everything dry, make sure the drain tube is clear, and turn it back on.
Defrost whenever the frost gets about 1/4" thick.
