A lot of the time, yes! Start with the easy stuff:
1. Make sure the RV is level. Absorption fridges won't cool well out of level. 2. Check the outside vents for blockages like nests or debris, and see if the fan is running on hot days. 3. Check whether the heat source is working. On gas, look for a flame. On electric, feel near the heater after an hour for warmth. 4. After a few hours, feel the condenser fins at the top back. If the heat is on but those fins stay cool, the cooling unit is likely bad.
