If it'll light by hand but won't light on its own, the ignition side isn't doing its job. Pull the outside access panel and watch while it tries to light on gas:
- No spark: check the electrode wire at the board, then the electrode itself. - Spark but no flame: clean the burner and orifice, and check that the gas valve is clicking open. - Lights, then goes out: the electrode isn't sensing the flame. Clean the tip and check its position.
On the N621, the 61692222 spark sense electrode is the usual fix, and it's in stock.
