If it only stays lit while you hold the xxxx , the thermocouple isn't heating long enough to hold the valve open. Hold the xxxx down for a full 30 to 45 seconds after it lights. If it still goes out, the thermocouple or its wiring is the problem. For the no-spark part, check the igniter wire and the 619153 electrode (discontinued). Also, the 628119 wire kit fixes a lot of won't-stay-lit issues on the N300 series.
