If it won't cool on AC or LP, look at two separate problems. First, AC isn't working (it flashes and switches to LP). Check the AC heater's resistance and the board's AC fuse. Second, even with the burner lit, it isn't cooling at all. When the heat source works but there's no cooling, the cooling unit has failed. For a 6162 that old, replacing the fridge is usually the better move. Send us your cutout size and we'll suggest a current model.
