It sounds like you've got a few things going on here. First off, you'll need to make sure you have the correct board installed. The 6212XX is the correct board for the 1200, not the 628661.

Researching I find that my original control board was a 628661 not a 628271, as the Dino board was programmed.
There also is a modification, seems to be an upgrade, small bd attached with a red led and several 12v connections.
Installed a new gas valve during the repair, new gas makes "WOOF" when lighting and the gas sputters intermittently.
