Good question. This is problem we've come across many times and it could be one of two things. Either dirty voltage (AC ripple) or a bad Norcold optical board. Start by putting your multimeter across the 12V + and - and checking for DC power. If you have good power, try switching your meter to the lowest AC setting you have with the meter still on those same two leads. If you get over 0.5 VAC on the DC line, replace your converter/ charger. If there is no AC power present, replace the Norcold optical board.
